The Rigged Story

Built, Not Just Sewn.

The Designer’s Journey

I’ve spent 20 years living and breathing the festival circuit. As a partner and the original designer of the holster at The Fairies Pyjamas, I had the privilege of seeing thousands of people use my gear to navigate the dust and the dancefloors of the world. After 19 years on the Playa at Burning Man, I learned exactly what equipment needs to do: it needs to be high-utility, hands-free, and tough enough to survive a week in the desert.

A New Chapter

Life has shifted gears since those early tour days. Today, I’m a 56-year-old artist and a dad to two amazing toddlers. While I spend some time doing renovations to support my family, my identity has always been rooted in creation.

Rigged Thing is my return to that passion. I wanted to take everything I learned from those two decades on the road and distill it into the ultimate festival rig.

Our Gear

We don't do fast fashion. We do functional art. Our current holster vests are made from heavy-duty cotton twill with bronze hardware, featuring 20 pockets designed to carry your phone, your snacks, and your essentials safely. Every piece is manufactured in a fair-trade facility in Nepal—a place close to my heart after my own travels there.

Whether you’re a veteran of the Playa or heading to your first festival, our goal is to help you stay organized so you can focus on being present.

This is wearable utility. It’s rigged for reality.
